Vinita Nair
She started at the station in July 2004 and reported on many subjects, such as her report on the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation and school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair was hired as a reporter for ABC News in December 2007 as a correspondent/anchor for ABC News Now. To fulfill her duties as a reporter, she provided live reporting and briefings to ABC's channel. Nair was a co-anchor for World News Now and America This Morning on ABC, from September 17th, 2008 up to February 18, 2011. Nair was co-anchor with Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson on both shows. Nair made it clear on Thursday 17th February 2011, the date for her final night working on broadcasting for World News Now would be the evening of Friday, 18th February. It would also be one final day of work for ABC News. Peggy Bunker from KDVR Denver was appointed her successor. In all three segments on World News Now's February 18 show, Nair was honored by former and current colleagues such including Jeremy Hubbard. She lavished the team with an excellent breakfast at the end of her day.
