Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She currently competes in the UFC Flyweight division. Valentina is her elder sister, as well as a fellow UFC competitor. Antonina Schevchenko broke her professional MMA records in 2002, when she fought Anara Bazanova in the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She went 3-0, after winning the second-round TKO. The following two bouts were won by WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko was forced to take a break from MMA and focused on her kickboxing. Shevchenko made her comeback in 2017 with Anissa Diddaoui. Shevchenko beat Anissa by unanimous decision, and then she defeated Valerie Domergue in Phoenix FC 4. She was a part of the Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera at Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11. Antonina made use of her formidable striking skills in order to TKO Nievera in the clinch by knees on the body. After this win, Antonina was offered a UFC contract. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record in her next 3 fights. She beat Ariane Lipski, but fell to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina lost her last fight to Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
